Published on 02/Jun/2010The European Union's Green Week will take place from 1 to 4 June 2010 in Brussels. Held every year to celebrate conservation and the environment across Europe, this year's theme is Biodiversity. Over some 30 sessions, the conference will address the state of biodiversity in Europe and in the world, the pressures currently affecting biodiversity, the benefits it brings, and possible solutions to the current rates of loss.
The four day event is held in the Charlemagne Building in the Belgian capital and the Active blanket bog in Wales project has been invited to attend.
Along with six other, past and present LIFE projects, including another RSPB led project from Titchwell in England, the project will have a stand in the LIFE Nature area. The project will also give a talk during the week to participating delegates.
